First Day Self-Guided Hike

Start your year off right with a First Day Hike at a state park!

We are hosting self-guided hikes on Jan. 1. Choose the trail that works for you!

• CCC Trail - 0.6 miles (easy). Walk through history as this trail takes you on what remains of the CCC camp that was once in PKSP.
• Lakeview Trail - 1.4 miles (moderate). Winding scenic trail travels through woodlands and prairies
• Chaparral Trail - 0.5 mile (challenging). Watch your step on this steep trail that climbs through juniper woodlands and winds past scenic overlooks.

We will have maps and stickers at headquarters. Stop by after your hike and let us know what you saw and how far you walked!
