Access is available at two public boat ramps and several private marinas. Some private ramps may be difficult to use under low-water conditions. Campsites or RV hookups are available at some marinas. For details, click a point on the map or choose a name from the chart below.

A: Chamber Island Ramp
- From Seven Points, turn east on Texas 334 (FM 85). Ramp is on the east side of the island in the middle of the causeway bridge.
- Two-lane paved ramp with parking for 75 vehicles
- Free park entry, donation requested for boat launch
- Open all year
- Operated by Cedar Creek Lake Organization
B: Sandy Shores Marina
- Located on the east shore. From US 175, turn east on Texas 334/FM 85. Go through Gun Barrel City and turn left on Big Chief Drive, just before bridge.
- One-lane ramp, usable at various lake levels
- $5 launch fee; $5 fish-cleaning fee for day visitors
- Parking for 70 vehicles
- Open all year

C: Lone Star Marina
- Located on the west shore at mid-lake. From Kemp, take Texas 274 south. Six miles past Seven Points, turn east at Don's Port billboard and follow signs to marina.
- Boat ramp has parking for 50 vehicles
- $5 fee
- Open Tuesday-Saturday
- Privately operated (903) 432-2268
D: Log Cabin
- Four-lane boat ramp, usable at various water levels
- $10 launch fee
- Fishing pier
- Open all year
- Operated by City of Log Cabin (903) 489-2195
E: County Public Ramp
- Take Texas 31 to Malakoff and turn north on FM 198. Go 3 miles, cross Caney Creek. Ramp is on right at the north end of the bridge.
- Two-lane paved ramp with parking for 40 vehicles
- No fee required
- Open all year
- Operated by Henderson County
F: Fisherman's Wharf
- Take Texas 31 to Malakoff and turn north on FM 198. Turn west on FM 3062, go 1 mile and turn right on CR 1703.
- Boat ramp has parking for 40 vehicles
- $5 fee
- Open all year
