This area is experiencing a drought which may affect fishing and boat ramp access. Use the phone number provided below to check ramp conditions.
Angler and boat access is very good. Five improved ramps are located at points around the reservoir. Anglers without boats have access to approximately 60% of the shoreline, with one ADA accessible fishing pier. The reservoir has two large no-wake zones, one located in Carrol Creek and the other in Kelly Creek. Life jackets are required at all times except when the boat is moored or beached. Abundant camping and picnic areas are available, many with large trees. A use fee is required; contact the marina (806) 874-5111 for more information.
