General Access
A two-mile section of the county road, River Road, on the Guadalupe River Unit allows visitors on the area near the river if the weather conditions are favorable.
During the hunting season, hunters with valid permits and fees are allowed access to the Guadalupe Delta WMA units. The Mission Lake Unit has several designated public hunting roads with signs that guide you to parking areas for numbered hunting sites. Mowed paths and reflective stakes lead you to hunting areas and show you where to set up. The Guadalupe River Unit and the Hynes Bay Unit have limited access points. The San Antonio Unit is closed at all times. To access and leave the San Antonio Unit, you must have a WMA escort.
Permits Required
Visitors 17 years of age and older must have an APH or LPU Permit. There are no improved trails. Public may have to walk through tall grass and wet soil to reach hunting blinds.
