Burn Ban

March 1, 2025 - No wood fires are allowed. However, charcoal and containerized fuel stoves (i.e. propane) are allowed for cooking. 

Closures

July 30, 2025 - A portion of Skyline Drive Trail, the Scenic Overlook and its parking lot are closed for repairs. 

Limpia Canyon area will be closed for wildlife management activities on the following dates. Only hunters with drawn permits will be allowed in:

• 6 a.m. Nov. 7 to 6 a.m. Nov. 12
• 6 a.m. Feb. 20 to 6 a.m. Nov. 25

Please observe closures for your safety.

Black Bear Restaurant

April 28, 2025 - The Black Bear Restaurant is now open for breakfast and lunch! Hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday through Monday.
