Always operate your trail vehicle in a safe and responsible manner . Do not be a danger to yourself or others.
The speed limit on access trails and roads is 15 MPH.
Trails are all two-way traffic. Be cautious on trail access roads and where sight lines are limited
Riders younger than 14 years of age must ride age-appropriately sized ATVs. Younger riders riding adult sized machines is prohibited.
Ages 6-11: Under 70cc
Ages 12-13: 70cc-90cc
Ages 14 and older: Over 90cc
A person may not operate, ride, or be carried on an Off-highway Vehicle (OHV) on this trail system unless the person is using:
A DOT-approved safety helmet,
Eye protection (goggles or safety glasses),
Seat belts, if the vehicle is equipped with seat belts by the manufacturer, and
Any vehicle used on the trail system must have a current Texas Off-highway Vehicle (OHV) program decal properly mounted on the vehicle BEFORE the vehicle is used on the trail.
A person may not operate an ATV on this trail system unless the person:
Holds a safety training certificate issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) or an equivalent certificate issued under the authority of another state,
Is taking a safety training course under the direct supervision of a certified ATV safety instructor, or
Is under the direct supervision of an adult who holds a safety certificate issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) or an equivalent certificate under the authority of another state.
Passengers are only allowed on machines which are designed by the manufacturer to carry a passenger. Riding double on all other machines is prohibited.
All trail vehicles must have an effective exhaust which meets U.S. Forest Service Standards for spark arrestors and the exhaust sound volume must not exceed 96 decibels.
Pee Wee Practice Areas are limited to trail machines of 100cc or less.
Pets are prohibited on the trail system.
Leave no trash or debris on the trail. Pack it in/pack it out.
Hours of operation for trails are sunrise to sunset, unless posted differently.
No public consumption or display of alcohol in the park – including on the trail system.
Operation of trail machines while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited.
No smoking on the trails. No glass containers on the trails.
