- New Year's Eve: Night Hike
- Take a New Year’s night hike with a Fort Parker State Park ranger! Explore the 1/2-mile Bur Oak Nature Trail and see what you might with an awesome black light!
- Winter Bird Walk
- Search for vesper sparrows, loggerhead shrikes, spotted towhees, and other winter residents in the varied habitats along Lytle's Loop.
- Public Hunt- Deer
- Guadalupe River State Park (including the Bauer Unit) and Honey Creek State Natural Area will be closed starting at 8pm on Monday, January 11, 2027 and will reopen at 12pm on Friday, January 15, 2027.
- Kallison Ranch Hike
- Join us on a trip back in time with a short but beautiful hike to the historic Kallison Ranch complex.
- Kid Fish Event
- Fish for rainbow trout at Lake Springfield!
