I. Executive Summary: Interpretation and Exhibits staff will provide an overview of park-based interpretive programs including visitor programs and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) based programs for schoolchildren, including those at Sheldon Lake and the World Birding Center. Staff will provide overview of the Regional Interpretive Specialist program's activities including Interpretive Master Planning for parks, Certified Interpretive Host and Certified Interpretive Guide training for park staff, and review the status of the interpretive brochure program. Staff will also present the Committee with a brief update on the Buffalo Soldiers program and a review of interpretive exhibits recently completed and underway.
