Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Marketing Efforts

I.      Executive Summary:  The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department staff seeks to brief the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission on marketing efforts that directly drive new license sales and renewals.

II.     Discussion:  The briefing will illustrate how marketing supports sales of new and renewed hunting and fishing licenses, using a combination of email and funding from R3 (Recruitment, Retention, and Reactivation) grants to test alternative media. Additionally, the briefing will highlight Big Time Texas Hunts, a signature marketing campaign which generated $1.3 million in 2021.
