Nature Walk with Santa
Sat, December 07, 2024
Join Santa and his favorite nature guide in a search for birds, unusual plants, butterflies, lizards and other native critters.
It shouldn't be a surprise that Santa's a birder: he loves keeping a list and checks it twice during his annual trip to the Rio Grande Valley to spot those south Texas specialties like Green Jay, Plain Chachalaca, and the Great Kiskadee. He also loves to look for butterflies, lizards and other native critters. Join Santa and his favorite nature guide friends on a special nature walk/scavenger hunt to find all the items on his list. At the end of the walk, get creative with a fun holiday craft!
Free with admission ($5 for adults, children 12-and-under free).
Meet on the deck outside the Park Store.
Can bring bug spray, binoculars, and cameras but not necessary.
