The Palo Duro River Authority maintains three boat ramps on the reservoir. Two ramps are usable when the lake is full, and a third is available during low water periods only. Most of the shoreline is accessible to bank anglers. Some areas are ADA-accessible. Several picnic and camping areas are available, including two RV campgrounds with hookups. The authority charges an entry fee of $2.00/person and an additional $2.00 for use of boat ramps.

North Ramp

• Take Highway 15 north from Spearman, then turn on FM 3214. Follow FM 3214 across the dam to the north entrance.
• Two-lane boat ramp with parking for 40
• Entry fee ($2.00/person) and boat ramp fee ($2.00/boat)
• Accessible when lake is full

South Ramp

• Enter the south gate off FM 760 and follow the road to the ramp.
• Two-lane boat ramp with parking for 40

Low Water Ramp

• Enter the south gate off FM 760 and follow the road to the PDRA office. Continue straight down the dirt road to the point where Horse Creek meets Palo Duro Creek.
• One-lane boat ramp with unimproved parking for 20
• Usable at low lake levels
• Entry fee ($2.00/person) and boat ramp fee ($2.00/boat)
