Pavilion
Group pavilion

Construction here at ABK SNA is rolling along. We’re near completion of two group sites that I’m excited to share with you.

Pavilion

First, we have the group pavilion. It will be a great covered space for families and other groups to enjoy. Large ceiling fans will keep the air flowing even in the worst of Hill Country’s summer days.

A beautiful rock fireplace can warm hands on a chilly winter night. Maybe it will host a few Dutch ovens as people gather to enjoy the lovely aroma of cooking treats.

Picnic tables will let weary bodies rest or can be moved aside for a little evening dancing.

Amphitheater

Solar amphitheater

In addition to the covered pavilion, there will also be a solar amphitheater which will host a variety of programs. Visitors will learn how to bird, discover the wildlife that calls ABK home, or marvel at the night sky.

Groups will also be able to rent the amphitheater, which will be accessible to those with mobility issues.

Groups at ABK

How will you use your new state natural area group sites? Family reunions, local group meetups, business training? Any way you choose, it will be better outside!
