Power Outage

A power outage is planned due to maintenance beginning at 10 a.m. on May 6, 2026. We expect the power to be out for a couple of hours. Check back for updates.

Burn Ban

Feb. 16, 2026 - The park is under a burn ban. No ground fires are allowed. You may cook with charcoal and containerized fuel stoves. 

Closures

April 10, 2026 - The boat ramp, fishing pier and swimming area are closed due to the low lake level. 

Water Quality Advisory

Oct. 21, 2025 - The park has detected higher than normal nitrate levels in its water system. Infants under 6 months, pregnant women, and people with specific health concerns should plan on bringing water when visiting the park. 

Note: Boiling water does not remove nitrates.
