Water Quality Advisory

Oct. 21, 2025 - The park has detected higher than normal nitrate levels in its water system. Infants under 6 months, pregnant women, and people with specific health concerns should plan on bringing water when visiting the park. 

Note: Boiling water does not remove nitrates. 

Park Closures

The park will be closed on the following dates for wildlife management activities:

• 4 p.m. Dec. 8 to 2 p.m. Dec. 12
• 4 p.m. Dec. 15 to 2 p.m. Dec. 19
• 4 p.m. Dec. 25 to 2 p.m. Dec. 29

Only hunters with permits will be allowed in the park on these dates.
