Boating Notices

July 26, 2026 - Due to lake levels:

• Exercise extreme caution when operating watercraft on the lake due to current Frio River conditions at the 99 and Mason Point boat ramps.
• You may launch below the concrete ramp when conditions are safe. Please watch for debris in the water and launch at your own risk.
• The following boat ramps are currently open:
  • Calliham
  • South Shore
  • Mason Point
  • Hwy 99

Unit Closures

The South Shore unit will be closed on the following dates:

• 5 p.m. on Nov. 30 to 10 p.m. on Dec. 3

The Calliham unit will be closed on the following dates:

• 5p.m. on Jan. 4 to 10 p.m. Jan. 8

Only permitted hunters will be allowed on these dates.
