Headquarters Closure

The park headquarters office will be closed on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for staff training. Please use the self-pay station or make reservations online.

Visiting the Park

• Carry water when hiking: Carry plenty of water for you, your family and your pets when hiking. Experts recommend one liter of water per person per hour of activity, no matter the temperature. Many of our trails are rocky and unshaded. Water spigots are available in the campground.
• Reservations recommended: We highly recommend making day pass or camping reservations before visiting to guarantee entry. Reserve online or by calling (512) 389-8900.
