Special Event Alert

The park is hosting a special event this weekend (Lakeside Legacy). Some facilities will be affected:

• May 8-10, 2026 - Boat rentals from the front office will not be available.
• May 9, 2026 - The main day-use area, including the swim area and boat ramp, will be closed. The Navasota River day-use area, boat ramp and the kayak vending machine will be open.

Construction Alert

Sept. 2, 2025 - Expect construction noise in the day-use, screen shelter and cabin areas and the water and electric camping loop. Nature Center renovations are expected to last through September 2026. Contact the park for details.

Fishing Piers Closed

Jan. 7, 2025 - Both fishing piers are closed.
