Boat Ramp Construction

Beginning Dec. 15, 2025, repairs will begin on the bulkhead and walkway at the boat ramp. The ramp will remain open, but access may be reduced to a single lane. Use of the courtesy dock may be restricted at times. The fish cleaning station will be open but with reduced capacity.

Please plan your trip accordingly and be prepared to launch/depart quickly. Other public boat ramps are located in St. Charles Bay and Copano Bay.

Noise Alert

Nov. 14, 2025 - Please expect an increase in airboat activity due to duck hunting season. 

Holiday Hours

Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2025: Park headquarters will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2025:  Park headquarters will be closed.

Please make reservations online before visiting or use the self-pay station at the park.

Water Conservation Alert

Nov. 14, 2025 - Please use water sparingly for drinking, cooking, and in restrooms. Bring your own water or buy bottled water at headquarters.
