Boat Ramp Construction

Beginning Dec. 14, 2025, the boat ramp will have no docking space and only one open lane due to repairs to the walkways and bulkhead. The fish cleaning station will be open but with reduced capacity. 

Please plan your trip accordingly and be prepared to launch/depart quickly. Other public boat ramps are located in St. Charles Bay and Copano Bay.

Noise Alert

Nov. 14, 2025 - Please expect an increase in airboat activity due to duck hunting season. 

Parking Alert

Parking in the Rec Hall parking lots will be limited Dec. 12–14, 2025 due to a special event. If you are using the boat ramp, please park in the boat ramp parking lot or the Island Triangle parking lot south of the boat ramp.

Holiday Hours

Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2025: Park headquarters will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2025:  Park headquarters will be closed.

Please make reservations online before visiting or use the self-pay station at the park.

Water Conservation Alert

Nov. 14, 2025 - Please use water sparingly for drinking, cooking, and in restrooms. Bring your own water or buy bottled water at headquarters.
