Aug. 10, 2026 - The park is under a burn ban. Wood fires are not allowed. You may cook with charcoal and containerized fuel stoves.
Facility Closures
Aug. 18, 2025 - The Rec Hall, group lodges, cabins and Lakeside Trail are closed for renovations. Renovations are expected to take about 18 months. Watch for road closures and follow signs for your safety.
Park Closures
The park will be closed on the following dates:
2 p.m. on Dec. 4 to 2 p.m. on Dec. 9
2 p.m. on Jan. 3 to 2 p.m. on Jan. 8
Only permitted hunters will be allowed on these dates.
