Burn Ban

Feb. 9, 2026 - The park is under a burn ban. No wood fires allowed. You may use charcoal in a container with a lid, or containerized fuel stoves (i.e. propane) for cooking only.

Facility Closures

Feb. 10, 2026 - The Council Bluff dump station is closed for maintenance. The Willow Point dump station is open.

Aug. 18, 2025 - The Rec Hall, group lodges, cabins and Lakeside Trail are closed for renovations. Renovations are expected to take about 18 months. Watch for road closures and follow signs for your safety.
