Star Gazing and don't forget the Moon

Lake Whitney State Park
Enjoy an evening in the park as you explore the galaxy by star maps and telescope. Retired National Park range Larry Smith will guide you through the planets, moon and stars with fascinating facts. Plan about 2 hours for this program that will start at 7 pm. To ensure the telescopes are not at risk of being toppled over, we ask that children remain seated. Please register your group by calling the park office during business hours at (254) 694-3793 or send an email with your name, phone number and total adults and children attending to rita.eisenschenk@tpwd.tx.gov
