Burn Ban

Feb. 25, 2026 - The park is under a burn ban. No wood fires allowed. You may use charcoal and containerized fuel stoves (i.e. propane) for cooking only. 

Prescribed Burns

Prescribed burns are planned January through April, depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed burns and the associated smoke may affect your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn more.
