Burn Ban

Oct. 20, 2025 - The park is under a burn ban. No ash-producing fires (wood or charcoal) are allowed. You may use containerized fuel stoves with a cut-off valve for cooking.

Boil Water Notice

Dec. 24, 2025 - Most of the park is under a boil water notice. This includes all overnight and day-use areas, except for the Rim cabins. Please bring drinking and cooking water with you, or be prepared to boil water. 

Area Closures

Nov. 21, 2025 - Some trails are closed due to wet conditions. Check at headquarters for trail updates.

Nov. 13, 2025 - The equestrian campsites, equestrian trail and backcountry are closed for trail maintenance.
