Burn Ban

Sept. 25, 2025 - The park is under a burn ban. No ash-producing fires (wood or charcoal) are allowed. You may use containerized fuel stoves for cooking. 

Holiday Hours

The park will be open throughout the holidays, but the office will have reduced hours on these dates:

• Dec. 24: Office closes at 2 p.m.
• Dec. 25: Office will be open from noon to 4:30 p.m.

If you will arrive when the office is closed,  please pay fees online or use the self-pay station. 

Park Closures

The park will be closed on the following dates for wildlife management activities:

• 10 p.m. Jan. 4 to 2 p.m. Jan. 8, 2026

Only hunters with drawn permits will be allowed in during these periods.

Reservations Recommended

Guarantee entrance by making reservations for day passes or campsites before visiting on weekends, school breaks and holidays. Permits often sell out for these busy times.
