Headquarters Closure

The park will be open, but headquarters and the Silver Canoe Park Store will be closed on Christmas Day, Dec. 25. Park hosts will be available in Big Pine site 317 for visitors who need assistance. 

Trail Closures

Some trails will be closed on the following dates:

• Jan. 3, 2026: The Whispering Pines and Lakeshore Trail will be closed until 5 p.m. for a special event. The EZ, A, B, C, and D loops will remain open.
• Jan. 24, 2026: EZ, A, B, C, and D loops will be closed for a special event. Whispering Pines and Lakeshore Trail will remain open.
