Prescribed Burn

Feb. 18, 2026 - A prescribed burn is underway today and tomorrow in the park. The Longleaf Loop trail is closed until the burn is complete. Smoke may linger for a few days afterwards.

Overnight Camping Closed

Feb. 11, 2026 - The park is open for day use only, due to a maintenance issue. All restrooms and the dump station are closed; portable toilets are available.. 

Area Closures

Oct. 17, 2025 - The swimming area and some campsites are closed due to hurricane damage. Swimming is temporarily allowed at the canoe launch area.
