Pipeline Easement – Brazoria County
March 26, 2015

I.       Executive Summary:  Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) has a requested a pipeline easement from Dow Chemical (DC) at Sea Center Texas (SCT).

II.     Discussion:  TPWD has requested a pipeline easement from DC at SCT. This pipeline easement will be used as an outflow to drain fish hatchery ponds into the Brazos River.

Dow Chemical has agreed to grant this easement pending Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission approval.

III.       Recommendation:  The staff recommends the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission consider the following motion:

“The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission authorizes the Executive Director to take all    necessary steps to accept the granting of a pipeline easement from Dow Chemical to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department at Sea Center Texas.”
