Join our skilled staff and dedicated volunteers as we travel the state, making meaningful connections. Whether you're eager to learn, offer feedback, or simply explore, bring your sense of adventure, and join us in celebrating the wonders of nature and conservation!
Get Outside is a dynamic program by TPWD that brings nature to life for thousands of attendees each year. As a traveling outreach initiative, we partner with event hosts across Texas to deliver exciting, hands-on activities for children (ages 6-17) and their families. Our goal is to inspire a deep love for nature and foster a commitment to conservation.

Participate in any number of TPWD's activities at these great events, and enter our free giveaway! Simply scan a QR code, tell us how to contact the winner, and you are entered to win one of two prize packs. One includes a set of camping gear essentials and there is a second drawing for two fishing rod and reel combos.
A variety of activities led by TPWD staff and partners to participate in may include many of the following:

All you need is a smile and positive attitude. We have a diversity of jobs to accommodate everyone's comfort and skill level!
