How to become a TAS Certified Field Site

Texas Aquatic Science Certified Field SiteWe will identify Texas Aquatic Science (TAS) Certified Field Sites on our TAS webpage and share your contact information with participating schools so that connections can be made.  Certified Field Sites agree to:

  • Be a rich source of Aquatic Science experiences and site based activities for visiting school groups
  • Review the curriculum on the student portal and teacher guide activities and identify site based activities you’ll agree to facilitate
  • Display the TAS Certified Field Site window cling at your site and the logo on the Education portion of your website
  • Attend a 3 hour certification training in your region

If you would like your organization to be considered for TAS Certified Field Site designation, please discuss this great opportunity and contact the Texas Aquatic Science program coordinator if you'd like to be considered.
