Thanks to Everyone for Making the 27th Annual Birding Classic the biggest year yet!

• 202 teams registered for tournament categories throughout the state, April 15 - May 15, 2023.
• 1,100+ individual participants birding with their friends and family statewide.

The 27th Annual Birding Classic is another record-breaking year with more teams participating than ever before! 

This event is made possible by donations from event sponsors Toyota, the Texas Ornithological Society, Swarovski Optik, N.A., Awards Ceremony sponsor Audubon Texas, and team registration fees and corporate and community team sponsorship. Each year's Conservation Grants are made possible through Birding Classic funds raised. Check back this summer to see which projects are funded through this year's event.
