Feb. 24, 2026 - The park is under a burn ban. No wood or charcoal fires are allowed. You may cook with containerized fuel stoves.
Lake Abilene Closures
Oct. 20, 2025 - Due to the lake's low level:
- Boat ramps are closed;
- Kayak rentals are not available;
- Swimming and fishing are not allowed.
