The Bastrop State Park cabins were built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These historic cabins have been kept in the 1930s era condition to preserve the craftsmanship of the CCC. Although the cabins have ceiling fans, A/C and heat, they lack modern central heat and air, along with modern insulation. We recommend bringing a fan or two for your comfort in the summer and an extra blanket in the winter.
