Swimming Pool

Bastrop State Park Swimming Pool

The pool is closed until the 2025 summer swim season. 

Pool tickets required

You must have a pool ticket to swim. Children aged 5 and under swim for free, but still need a ticket. 

Purchase tickets at the pool when you come to swim. Tickets are first-come, first-served.

Important Information

  • Children 14 and under must be accompanied into the pool area by a responsible adult aged 18 or older (State Park Rules and Regulations).
  • Park visitors and campers are not guaranteed access to the pool. 
  • Once the pool reaches its safe bather load, no one else will be allowed in.
  • The pool has ADA entry options; ask at pool ticket window.
  • We loan life jackets and pool noodles.
  • We do not allow the following items in the pool area:
    • Inflatable pool floaties and other large pool floats. Staff may make exceptions for infants, at their discretion. 
    • Pets, glass and smoking.
  • Lawn chairs, food, and drink are not allowed on the pool deck.
  • If you purchase a discounted pool ticket because you have a valid park entrance permit for that day, please bring that permit to the pool during check-in for verification.

Daily Pool Fees

  • $5 per person 13 years and older, without park entrance permit. Valid for pool use only.
  • $3 per person 13 years and older, with park entrance permit or a City of Bastrop Recreation Membership
  • $3 per person 6-12 years
  • Free for children 5 years and under
