The 2022 swim season will run from June 21 - Sept. 4, 2022.

New This Season

Reservations to enter the pool area are required for all ages, whether you plan to swim or not. Make reservations up to two weeks in advance.

Lap Swim 

• The pool is reserved for lap swimming at the following times:
  • Tuesday and Thursdays, July 23 - Aug. 4 from 8 to 9:40 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 9 to 10:40 a.m.
  • Thursday, Aug. 11 from 8 to 9:40 a.m.
• Swimmers may check in beginning 10 minutes before their reserved session. 
• Make your reservation for lap swimming.

Open Swim

Reservations for open swim are available in two-hour sessions. Check-in will begin 15 minutes prior to the start of swim sessions, which start on the hour. Each session will have 45 minutes of swim time, 15 minutes out of the water, then 45 more minutes of swim time. Then the pool area will be cleared for the next session.

The pool is reserved for open swim at the following times:

• Wednesdays (July 27 and Aug. 3) beginning at 9 a.m.
• Thursdays (July 28, Aug. 4 and 11) beginning at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Fridays (July 29, Aug. 5 and 12) beginning at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Saturdays (July 30, Aug. 6, 13, 20, 27 and September 3) beginning at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
• Sundays (Aug. 14, 21, 28 and Sept. 4) beginning at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Water Fitness Classes and Youth Aquatic Programming

Please contact City of Bastrop Recreation for information. Aquatics classes are reserved through the City of Bastrop website.

Important Information

Children 14 and under must be accompanied into the pool facility by a responsible adult aged 18 or older (State Park Rules and Regulations).

If you are purchasing a discounted pool ticket because you have a valid park entrance permit already for that day, please be prepared to bring that permit to the pool during check-in for verification.

Daily Pool Fees

• $5 per person 13 years and older, without park entrance permit. Valid for pool use only.
• $3 per person 13 years and older, with park entrance permit
• $3 per person 12 years and under 
• $3 per person 13 years and older, with a City of Bastrop Recreation Membership
