The 2023 swim season will run from May 27 - Sept 4, 2023 (staff dependent).

Reservations required

Reservations to enter the pool area are required for everyone. Children aged 5 and under swim for free, but still need reservations. 

Lap Swim 

The pool is reserved for lap swimming on Wednesdays,  Thursdays and Fridays, June 14 - Aug. 11, from 8 to 8:50 a.m. Swimmers may check in beginning 10 minutes before their reserved session.

Open Swim

Reservations for open swim are available in two-hour sessions. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to the start of swim sessions. Swim sessions will end and the pool area will be cleared after one hour and 45 minutes of swimming.

Reserve your open swim session. Reservation times include the 15-minute check-in.

Open swim sessions are at the following dates and times:

• Monday, May 29, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• Wednesdays (June 14 through Aug. 9) at 1 p.m.
• Fridays:
  • June 9 through Aug. 11, at 1 p.m.
  • June 16 and 30, July 14 and 28, and Aug. 11, also at 11 a.m.
• Saturdays:
  • May 27 and June 3, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • June 10 through Aug. 12, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• Sundays (May 28 and June 4) at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Water Fitness Classes and Youth Aquatic Programming

Please contact City of Bastrop Recreation for information. Aquatics classes are reserved through the City of Bastrop website.

Important Information

Children 14 and under must be accompanied into the pool facility by a responsible adult aged 18 or older (State Park Rules and Regulations).

If you are purchasing a discounted pool ticket because you have a valid park entrance permit already for that day, please be prepared to bring that permit to the pool during check-in for verification.

Daily Pool Fees

• $5 per person 13 years and older, without park entrance permit. Valid for pool use only.
• $3 per person 13 years and older, with park entrance permit or a City of Bastrop Recreation Membership
• $3 per person 6-12 years
• Free for children 5 years and under
