Swimming Pool

Swim season is from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (staffing dependent). 

Children 14 and under must be accompanied into the pool facility by a responsible adult aged 18 or older (State Park Rules and Regulations).

Children 12 and under will have to pass a swim test to swim in the big pool without a personal flotation device. You can bring your own personal flotation device or borrow one tat the pool.

The City of Bastrop offers Youth Water Safety Programs at the pool. You will need a City of Bastrop Recreation Membership to enroll. 

Daily Pool Fees

Pool entrance tickets are sold at the swimming pool. Entry is first-come, first-served, subject to pool occupancy. A park entrance permit is not required if you are only using the swimming pool.

  • $5 per person 13 years and older, without park entrance permit. Valid for pool use only.
  • $3 per person 13 years and older, with park entrance permit
  • $3 per person 12 years and under 
  • $3 per person 13 years and older, with a City of Bastrop Recreation Membership

2021 Swimming Pool Schedule 

Aug. 14 through Labor Day weekend (staffing dependent). 

  • Closed weekdays
  • Open swim (ticket sales end one hour before closing):
    • Saturday, noon – 6:45 p.m. 
    • Sunday, noon – 5:45 p.m. 
  • Lap swim and water aerobics:
    • Saturday, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
  • Last day: Labor Day, Sept. 6.
    • Hours: noon to 5:45 p.m.
