2025 Fall Foliage Color Report

Weekends are selling out fast, so we encourage you to book a day pass online before your visit.
Nov. 14, 2025
We are seeing some great colors out here in the park. Most trees are not fully changed yet. Make sure you make reservations for your day visit as we are selling out on weekends and turning people away at the gate!

Nov. 6, 2025
What a difference a cold front and a week make! We are starting to see some great colors on the trees throughout the park. Colors should peak in the next week to week and a half. Make sure you make those reservations before coming for a visit!


Oct. 31, 2025
We had our first good cold front come through and that should start the color change! No colors yet but we should start seeing them next week.

The maple trees are still green with a few exceptions on the trails where the edges of some trees are starting to show a little color.

No changes from last week.
The only trees in the park showing any signs of color change are the sycamores and some walnuts. The maples are still bright green.

Visiting the park in Fall Foliage season
Busy season
Expect delays, traffic congestion, and capacity closures on fall weekends and the week of Thanksgiving. When parking lots are full, the Natural Area will close.
To guarantee you get in during our peak season, reserve passes online, or by calling the customer service center, before you visit. Please check the park Facebook page for immediate updates on closures, or contact the Natural Area.
