Special Events

Two trail running events will occur this fall. The park will be busier than usual on these dates.

• Saturday, Sept. 20 - expect heavy traffic on trails from 5 p.m. to midnight. 
• Saturday, Oct. 18 - expect heavy traffic on trails from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., or longer.

Park Closures

The park will be closed on the following dates for wildlife management activities:

• Noon Dec. 1 to 8 a.m. Dec. 5
• Noon Jan. 5 to 8 a.m. Jan. 9, 2026

Only hunters with drawn permits will be able to enter.
