Screened Shelters

Tent camping is allowed outside shelters in the mowed area only; only two tents are allowed. Pop-ups or small non-RV trailers 14 feet long or less may be parked at the shelter. They must fit in assigned parking area. No RV amenities. No generators allowed. Do not place nails, staples, tacks or any similar items in the wood of the screened shelters. You may hang plastic, tarps, etc., but it must not harm or mar the structure. As with all state parks, pets are not allowed inside the screened shelters or in any Texas State Park buildings. Pets cannot be unattended outside the shelters overnight. Reservation runs from 2 p.m. to noon.
