Accessibility Information
Two restrooms in the park are ADA accessible: the RV loop restroom and the restroom between the shelter loop and water-only campsites loop. Both facilities have accessible men’s and women’s stalls and showers. Each also has two accessible family restrooms. See a 360° view of one of the family restrooms.
The RV Loop restroom has ADA parking on both sides. For easier access, park on the RV Loop side of the building. The park road side may not work for all users as the sidewalk is narrow and partially obstructed by an ice machine.
The Bullinger Creek Group Hall and Barracks are fully accessible. However, the sidewalks between the buildings don’t quite meet. A person using a wheelchair would need to either cross the grass or travel a longer route on the paved roadway between the buildings.
The park cabin is accessible, with a concrete sidewalk from the parking area to the cabin entry and outdoor area. The cabin has a pull-out table surface inside. Outside is a raised fire ring and a picnic table with extended ends.
The wildlife viewing station (360° photo) is close to a parking area and has a wide, level trail and slightly arched wooden bridge. The viewing station has peepholes at various heights.
The amphitheater is not accessible but has a level path from the parking area.
Some park trails are mostly level and might work for some assistive chair users when the ground is dry. All park trails are classified as “easy.” Ask at headquarters for trail recommendations.
The park has no accessible campsites, but many full hookup and tent sites have level surfaces that might work for some campers. You can see photos of individual campsites in our online reservation system.
Conditions can change quickly. Contact the park for more information and to ask about the status of particular accessible features.
