Commission Policy Manual Resolution/Designation of Official Nonprofit
April 2002

I. Discussion: This item updates the language in the policy manual to reflect changes mandated by the Sunset Bill (SB 305) relating to the composition of the Commission, terms of service, and Commission meeting agenda as well as creates a new Commission policy naming the Parks and Wildlife Foundation as the Official Nonprofit Partner. The policy requires the Foundation to comply with the adopted best practices for the official nonprofit partner.

II. Recommendation: Staff recommends the Parks and Wildlife Commission adopt the following motion:

"The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission adopts by resolution (Exhibit B) the revised Policy Manual of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission (Exhibit A)."
