Burn Ban

Oct. 14, 2025 - The park is under a burn ban. No ash-producing fires (wood or charcoal) are allowed. You may use containerized fuel stoves for cooking. 

Trail Race

The Brazos Bend 100 Trail Race will take place in the park Dec. 6 & 7, 2025. Parking will be limited. Expect more traffic than usual on the trails.

Park Closures

The park will be closed for wildlife management activity on the following dates:

• 2 p.m. Nov. 17 to 8 a.m. Nov. 21
• 2 p.m. Dec. 15 to 8 a.m. Dec. 19

Only hunters with permits will be allowed in closed areas.
