May 6, 2026 - Potable (drinkable) water is not available at the Del Norte Unit of the park. Bring water for drinking and cooking for your entire group when you visit.
Burn Ban
Jan. 1, 2026 - No wood fires allowed. You may cook with containerized fuels (i.e. propane).
Paddler Notices
Jan. 1, 2026 - The Baker's Crossing launch is closed due to low flow levels in Devils River. The San Pedro Point launch is still open.
Unit Closures
The Dan A. Hughes unit will be closed on the following dates:
5 p.m. on Nov. 16 to 8 a.m. on Nov. 27
5 p.m. on Dec. 7 to 8 a.m. on Dec. 18
5 p.m. on Jan. 11 to 8 a.m. on Jan. 22
The Del Norte unit will be closed on the following dates:
5 p.m. on Nov. 30 to 8 a.m. on Dec. 11
5 p.m. on Dec. 14 to 8 a.m. on Dec. 25
5 p.m. on Jan. 4 to 8 a.m. on Jan. 15
Only permitted hunters will be allowed on these dates.
