You must arrive before 4 p.m. and check in at Del Norte headquarters (no entry after 4 p.m.). Small self-contained trailers and motor homes (16 feet or less) are allowed. High clearance is recommended due to road conditions. All stays are by reservation, only. Reserve online or call (512) 389-8901 at least one day in advance. This is primitive, low-impact camping in a sensitive natural and cultural resource area.
- Open fires are not allowed. You may cook with containerized fuel stoves.
- Bring water for drinking and cooking. Park water is not potable
- Pack out all trash. We do not have garbage pickup.
- You may not tie hammocks to trees or other plants.
