The cabins do not have bathrooms; restrooms with showers are nearby. Cabin #400 is in the Hen House Unit and Cabin #619 is in the Walnut Ridge Unit. The units are about four miles apart. Tax is charged on these facilities. Cabin reservations for a Friday or Saturday must include both nights. Five-person maximum occupancy, including children. No tents or RVs are allowed at the cabins. Cooking and smoking are not allowed inside the cabins. Pets are not permitted in any Texas State Park building, including the cabins.

Shelters #40 and #405 are in the Hen House Ridge Unit, and shelters #600, #614, #618, #620 and #622 are in the Walnut Ridge Unit. The units are about four miles apart. Reservations for a Friday or Saturday must include both nights. Eight-person maximum occupancy, including children. Tents are allowed outside the shelter, but RVs are not allowed. Cooking and smoking are not allowed inside the shelters. Pets are not permitted in any Texas State Park building, including the cabins.
