Sept. 14, 2026 - The park is under a burn ban. No open, ash-producing fires (wood or charcoal) are allowed. Campers in reserved campsites may cook with containerized fuel stoves.

The gate at the south end of the park
Rock Tabernacle and Breezeway pavilions
River Access
Sept. 8, 2026 - The Leon River Trail provides access to a lookout point over the river. There are no stairs down to the bank or any other river amenities. Fishing, kayaking and swimming are allowed at your own risk.
Flooding has damaged this area extensively. We are continuing to restore this section of the park.
