Park Closures

The park will be closed on the following dates:

• Noon Dec. 13 to 8 a.m. Dec.16

Only permitted hunters will be allowed on these dates.

Scheduled Closure

Most of the park will be closed Jan. 26 to Feb. 28, 2025, for a construction project on Park Road 11. All areas on the south side of the San Marcos River will be closed including all water/electric campsites, the main trail system, showers, the Refectory building/parking and picnic area. Limited day-use and tent camping sites will remain open near Oxbow Lake.
