Burn Ban

Oct. 17, 2025 - The park is under a burn ban. No wood fires are allowed. You may use charcoal or containerized fuel stoves (i.e. propane) for cooking.

Holiday Hours

Nov. 24, 2025 - The park will be open throughout the holidays, but headquarters will have reduced hours:

• Christmas Eve - Dec. 24: Office open 8:15 to noon
• Christmas Day - Dec. 25: Office closed. 

Closures

Oct. 7, 2025 - Oxbow Lake Trail is partially closed for construction.

Sept. 23, 2025 - Kayak and paddle board rentals are closed due to renovations on the fishing pier and kayak launch.

Park Closure

The park will be closed on the following dates for wildlife management activities:

• Noon Dec. 12 to 8 a.m. Dec. 15

Only hunters with drawn permits will be able to enter.
