Texas Archery Instructors Conference
The Texas Archery Instructors Conference (TAIC) is an annual event hosted by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Texas Archery Program (TAP). Since its debut in 2020, TAIC has grown into a major gathering of archery educators and outdoor enthusiasts from all over Texas.
Event Highlights:
- Two days of engaging activities, including keynote speeches and presentations by leading professionals in outdoor education and archery
- Hands-on experience with a full archery range
- An awards dinner recognizing outstanding coaches, partners, and volunteers
- Prizes and giveaways from industry leaders
- Vendor booths from industry partners and outdoor education programs
- Networking opportunities and an after-hours social

Location & Accessibility:
To ensure all instructors statewide can participate, the conference location rotates every two years across different regions of Texas. Group rates at local hotels are available for convenience. This rotation also allows us to showcase Texas’s diverse regions and highlight local archery programs that introduce Texans to the sport.
