Bighead Sea Robin
Prionotus tribulus
Bighead sea robins are curious-looking fish covered with armorlike scales. They're active at night in inshore waters, bays and salt marshes. Like other sea robins, bigheads can use the lower spines of their pectoral fins to feel for shrimp and other food along the bottom.
