Cobia
Rachycentron canadum
Cobia, or ling as they're called in Texas, are chocolate brown fish that spend most of their time under floating or stationary objects in the open Gulf.
Their diet of shrimp, squid, crab and other fish gives cobia a delicious flavor which makes them popular with anglers.
