Timothy Birdsong grew up on the shores of Lake Texoma. He developed a passion for fisheries and the out-of-doors at a young age while exploring the many rivers and lakes that dominate the landscape of northeast Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. He has a biology degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and a master's degree in fisheries science from Louisiana State University. Tim is currently the chief of the Aquatic Habitat Conservation Branch at Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
