Bill Heugel

Presentation: What Fish See
Conservation Center Room B, 1:00 p.m.

Bill Heugel has been fly-fishing for over 30 years. He has fished for many freshwater and saltwater fish during that time. He lives on Toledo Bend Reservoir and fishes there for black bass, bream, and crappie. Bill has participated in many Federation of Fly Fishers conclaves demonstrating his fly-tying skills. Bill has compiled a substantial amount of information on the key senses of fish: sound, sight, pressure, smell, taste and touch. In the classroom Bill will cover tying with rabbit fur. These flies are very effective and fun to tie.
