Russell Husted is Past President of the Texas Council of Fly Fishers International and Past President of the Fort Worth Fly Fishers. He especially loves fishing creeks and rivers. If there is moving water to fish, he will try it out. In Texas he fishes the Brazos and Nolan rivers. Summers find him fishing in Colorado, and fall takes him to Arkansas. His favorite fishing is for sand bass in spring, but he also targets them in tailraces below dams year round. Russell has been fly-fishing for 13 years and also enjoys fly-tying. He posts frequently on fishing forums and websites and describes his major addiction as fly-fishing and his major health problem as troutburn.
